Luke 10: 36-37 - 36"Which of these do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" 37The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
Who's my neighbor? Who's your neighbor? Who's neighborhood is it anyway? Is it your neighborhood or is it my neighborhood? The Bible says we all live in God's neighborhood. At the Freehold Church of Christ we hear Jesus' command to "Go and do likewise." Jesus lived a life of mercy and recognized that we are all neighbors. We are all created in God's image and every person has eternal worth and value. The Freehold Church of Christ recognizes God's call to reach out to our neighbors and to extend mercy. Give us the opportunity to make ourselves available to you and reach out into the community through prayer, personal visits, and various works of service to extend God's mercy, love, and care.
